Frasnelli and Hoogendoorn Deliver on Finals Day at La Conca

Finals day at La Conca brought a complete shift in conditions, with sunshine and a fully dry track replacing the mixed weather seen earlier in the event. After a demanding Friday of qualifying heats, Saturday’s superheats and finals provided a reset, where execution in stable conditions became the deciding factor. With grip returning and margins tightening, the focus turned to delivering across the final races of the opening round.

Frasnelli completes a perfect day to secure Junior victory

In OK Junior, the superheats confirmed the form seen throughout the weekend, with Julian Frasnelli securing the advantage heading into the final ahead of Priam Bruno and Gioele Girardello.

The final saw Frasnelli lead from lights to flag, controlling the race throughout all 20 laps to secure victory. Bruno remained close behind to take second, while Daniel Miron Lorente completed the podium with a strong drive forward.

Behind them, Leo Gorski and Lucas Palacio completed the top five, with the latter setting the fastest lap of the race. With the field now on slick tyres and conditions stabilised, the racing became more direct, but Frasnelli remained untouchable at the front to close out a dominant performance.

Pesl leads early before Hoogendoorn takes control in the Senior final

In OK, the superheats were split between Jindrich Pesl and James Anagnostiadis, each securing a win to lead their respective groups into the final. Dean Hoogendoorn remained firmly in contention after a strong showing, setting up a direct fight at the front.

At the start of the final, Pesl took the early lead, controlling the opening phase of the race. However, Hoogendoorn quickly moved into contention and took over, leading from lap 2 through to the finish to secure victory after 24 laps.

Anagnostiadis followed closely in second throughout the race, while Lev Krutoholov completed the podium. Zac Green and Pesl rounded out the top five, with Pesl unable to convert his early lead into a podium finish. Further back, Filippo Sala set the fastest lap of the race as the field remained tightly packed in the dry conditions, with several close battles shaping the final positions.
