The third competition of the FIA Karting European Championships - OK & Junior has just started in Germany on the Prokart Raceland circuit of Wackersdorf with the strongest field of the season. With 140 drivers, 65 in OK and 75 in Junior, coming from 37 different countries, the Wackersdorf field is the biggest of the European season. A great success for the last competition of these FIA Karting European Championships - OK & Junior. The presence of numerous drivers entered only for this race thanks to the Wild Cards shows the strength of the international categories in this part of Europe.

Four weeks after the kick-off of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy in Belgium, the European Rotax racers headed for Germany where the second round of the season was held from September 4th to 6th, 2020. Venue was the Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf which equally hosted the halfway event of the elite RMC racing format. Although the Micro and Mini MAX categories were not part of program this time, over 100 drivers from more than 20 nations entered the second meeting of the year, providing the opening round winners and overall leaders a competitive mid-season event.

Two European doubles for Birel ART in KZ and KZ2

At the second round of the European Championship at Genk, Birel ART increased its domination of the international KZ and KZ2 categories by winning two titles in one go despite very tight competition. The double win by Marijn Kremers and Alessandro Irlando in KZ was indicative of the current dynamism of Birel ART, as well as that of Viktor Gustavsson and Simone Cunati in KZ2.
