Welcome back to the Bahrain International Karting Circuit, where the sun-drenched second racing day. Today the weather graced us with a lot of sunshine, tempting some to relax at the beach recharging before the adrenaline-fueled action commenced when the track opened at 13:00 AST.

Welcome to the exhilarating world of racing as we dive into the pulsating atmosphere of the first day on the track with the eagerly awaited new karts that were raffled just yesterday. The air was charged with anticipation, and happy, smiling faces were present everywhere as the drivers of the various categories made their way from the drivers' tent to the pre-grid for their inaugural Non-Qualifying Practice sessions.

The 2023 season of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is history. Last weekend, the decisions within the top-class racing series were made in Brandon, Great Britain. The championship celebrated its racing premiere on the Paul Fletcher International Circuit and thus presented challenges to a total of almost 160 drivers from all over the world. In exciting races in sometimes very difficult conditions, the new title holders in Europe's highest Rotax championship were finally crowned after the seventh and eighth rounds.

After the enthusiastic Finals, the general positive feeling about the organisation and the quality of the races only served to confirm the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy's privileged position on the international scene. The variable weather did nothing to tarnish the reputation of the event, whose high level of competitiveness won over the participants. Winners Emerson MacAndrew-Ursen (GBR) in Micro Max, Albert Friend (GBR) in Mini Max, Tom Dussol (FRA) in Junior Max, Ethan Jeff-Hall (GBR) in Senior Max, Antoine Barbaroux (FRA) in DD2 Max and Maxime Gravouille (FRA) in DD2 Max Masters were all smiling at the prospect of their forthcoming participation in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final in Bahrain.

This weekend, the almost six-week wait for participants in the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy will finally come to an end. In Mariembourg, Belgium, the Austrian engine manufacturer's top-class racing series will kick off the second half of the season with the third race of the year. More than 150 competitors are registered on the entry list for the event. It’s no doubt that the racing action is expected to be thrilling on the 1,366-meter circuit in view of the progressing championship.
