The 2nd Round of the WSK Super Master Series is scheduled for this weekend on the Franciacorta circuit. Although the 4 usual categories of the WSK meetings (KZ, OK, OKJ, and MINI) will be competing, this event will be the first opportunity for the drivers of the OK Junior and OK categories to work in view of the World Championship, scheduled right here at Franciacorta track in October.

For multiple karting champion Bart Ploeg it was almost routine, picking up a trophy at the annual NK IAME champions' ceremony, but it did not make him any less proud. He had become Dutch champion in the X30 Seniors class. The just seventeen year old karter from Heijningen lives to win. He will hopefully do that again next season. Launched in 2020 by promoter RGMMC, the Champions of the Future series has become a must for the best international drivers and teams. Some of the biggest names in the world have already won the competition, some of them now in single-seaters. In 2023, the Champions of the Future Euro Series will be held over five meetings optimally spread between March and September. Based on the FIA Karting regulations, the next season promises to be rich in quality and quantity in the OK and OK-Junior categories, with its calendar aligned with that of the European and World Championships!
