Quick German racer Tim Tramnitz is heading for the FIA Formula 3 Championship after signing to join MP Motorsport for the 2024 season. The 19-year-old from Hamburg is the first to sign up with the Dutch team, with more announcements to follow soon.

Red Bull Racing have signed German FIA F3 ace Oliver Goethe to their young driver programme.

Sebastián Montoya will join Hitech Grand Prix for his first FIA Formula 3 campaign this season the team have confirmed. The 17-year-old is part of the Red Bull Junior Team, freshly signed ahead of the 2023 season. The Colombian made two appearances last year across the Zandvoort race weekend with Campos Racing and tested with Hitech in Jerez in last year’s post-season test.

For round 2 in the Italian Formula 4 Championchip on the Imola racing track it was a difficult race for everyone with the track getting wet just before the start, fitting of rain tires by everyone, rolling start and the safety car entry twice. In the end the podium sees Edgar, Crawford and Rosso, the Italian also first in the Rookie classification.

The curtain-raiser is just a few days away, and a new season of ADAC Formula 4 is about to start. This coming weekend (31st July - 2nd August), the Lausitzring will be hosting the first three races of the campaign in parallel with the 2020 ADAC GT Masters. Every weekend, SPORT1 will be showing at least one race live on free-to-air TV, and the action can also be followed on SPORT1+.
