The hilly area of ​​Franciacorta, a land of vineyards between Lake Iseo and Brescia in Italy, will be the center of International Karting next weekend, from 5th to 8th October, hosting the FIA ​​Karting World Championship of the OK and OK-Junior categories.

The 1st Round of the FIA ​​European Championship, which took place on the Valencia track in Spain, has been a very positive weekend for the CRG Racing Team. Gabriel Gomez was among the absolute protagonists of the OK category, conquering the Pole Position in Qualifying and later winning all the Heats and the Super Heat, so as to also take Pole for the Final.

The 1^st Round of the FIA ​​European Championship for the OK & OK-Junior categories is scheduled for this weekend in Spain on the Valencia track. Over 180 drivers will compete in the two international direct drive classes with the aim of earning the first points of a Championship made of 4 rounds. After Spain, the Series will move to the Czech Republic in May, to Denmark in June, and will then end in Cremona in Italy on July 30^th.

The CRG drivers missed out on podium but there was no lack of speed for them while competing in the FIA ​​World Championship OK & OK Junior in Sarno. The most important weekend of the year for the direct drive classes confirmed the competitiveness of the CRG chassis and only a series of unfortunate episodes, decisive in a single round event, deprived the CRG drivers of a more important result.

Matheus Morgatto and Enzo Tarnvanichkul have just made FIA Karting history. It had been 24 years since a Brazilian had won a World Championship and Morgatto deserved his title in OK after a perfect run. On the Italian circuit of Sarno, in the sun, Tarnvanichkul became the first ever Thai World Champion.
