Cooper Shipman dominated to capture his ninth consecutive victory in Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) competition at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) on Sunday afternoon. The victory was enough to lock in his status as the 2025 F4 U.S. Champion and secure the scholarship to compete in the Formula Regional Americas Championship in 2026. The victory allowed Shipman (No. 14 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) to break a record set by Cameron Das during the inaugural season of F4 U.S. competition, and set a new standard for consecutive wins in the FIA-certified championship.

It was a triumphant Saturday for the Trident team in the Formula Regional European by Alpine. At Montmeló, the circuit located in the outskirts of Barcelona, the team managed by Luca Zerbini scored a resounding victory in the first race of the weekend thanks to Matteo De Palo. Fastest in his group in Qualifying 1, the Roman driver started from the front row alongside poleman Slater, the championship leader and his only direct rival in the title chase. When the lights went out, De Palo made a sprint-like move alongside Slater along the long straight leading to the first braking point.
