Kart CRG: The KZ month begins

October will be the month with the KZ2 and KZ categories taking center stage in the international karting scene. Next weekend (with Finals scheduled for Saturday, October 4), the 2nd and final round of the Champions of the Future will take place in Franciacorta, Italy. The following week, from October 8 to 11, on the same track, the most important event of the season for the Shifter categories is scheduled: the FIA World Championship KZ and the World Cup KZ2 and KZ Master. The most prominent drivers and teams in these categories will be based in Italy for 15 days to crown the 2025 World Champions. CRG boasts a prestigious and winning history in these categories, and once again this year, CRG and Kalì Kart chassis are expected to be among the frontrunners.

According to the egalitarian principle which has always prevailed in this competition, the 86 or so drivers entered this season in each of the two FIA Karting Academy Trophies, Senior and Junior categories, have had the use of strictly identical equipment: this includes chassis and engines (supplied by OTK), tyres (provided by Maxxis or LeCont, depending on the category), overalls and gloves (branded OMP) and the data acquisition system (of the Alfano brand).

The new FIA Karting event, which brought together the OK-N and OK-N Junior World Cups, as well as the third and final competition of the Academy Trophy - Junior, lived up to all expectations. On the Cremona circuit, the last day ended in sunshine with some very exciting Finals. Italy's Manuel Scognamiglio made the difference in OK-N, and his compatriot Gioele Girardello made history by becoming the first winner of the OK-N Junior World Cup. GB3 Championship reveals provisional 2026 calendar with Red Bull Ring and Barcelona additions

The GB3 Championship, partnered by the BRDC, has released a new-look calendar for the 2026 season, with events at the Red Bull Ring and the season finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya being the headline additions. Both F1 venues are set to host GB3 action for the first time, with the season schedule retaining the customary eight-round, 24-race schedule.
