Almost four years after the previous FIA Karting Championship at Campillos, the Andalusian circuit was perfectly suited to the eagerly-awaited European opener, contributing to the success of the first 2025 competition. The Finals lived up to their promise in both categories. Britain's Noah Baglin made the difference in OK-Junior, while Australian James Anagnostiadis emerged victorious from an intense duel in OK. Several of the drivers in the top three were already wearing the colours of academies set up by Formula 1 teams, including Baglin with Ferrari and Anagnostiadis with Mercedes.

With 96 drivers entered in OK and 91 in OK-Junior in the first of five rounds of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, top 10 places in the Final were extremely hard to come by. The teams using KR chassis and IAME engines clearly worked in the right direction, as the rankings showed seven OK and six OK-Junior drivers in the top 10 of the Finals. In 2025, the aim will be to retain the OK title in this RGMMC series and to win back the OK-Junior crown. Over the years, the Champions of the Future Euro Series has established itself as an essential series at the highest level of international karting. Racing in the FIA Karting OK and OK-Junior categories for the first time in 2024, the VictoryLane team rounded off its season in style with victory for Rocco Coronel at Cremona in the final round of the WSK Final Cup. The latest success in the most competitive category in world karting confirms the direction taken by the team this season, its working methods and its decision to join forces with the Kart Republic and IAME brands.

In France, the KR Motorsport team emerged victorious from the second round of the European Championship, in both OK and OK-Junior. Making the right choices at the right time is one of the strengths of the Italian brand, which demonstrated its ability to adapt to all weather conditions. Joe Turney and Iacopo Martinese dominated the proceedings on the Val d'Argenton circuit, a track no one was even familiar with a few weeks ago. The Briton is now the Championship leader in OK, while the Italian has moved up to 3rd in OK-Junior.
