Queenslander Jason Faint has taken a memorable victory in the second round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE, in Newcastle NSW. Faint led home last round winner Troy Loeskow and perennial front runner, Christopher Hays in Sunday afternoon’s KZ2 Championship final.

The Italian ACI Karting 2019 Championship will feature 5 rounds in Castelletto on May 12th, Siena on June 9th, Sarno on July 7th, Adria on July 28th and Val Vibrata on September 1st. Entitled categories are 60 Mini, KZ2, KZN Under, KZN Over, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, Rok Junior and Rok Senior.

The first winners in WSK Euro Series in Sarno (SA): Puhakka (FIN – Tony Kart-Vortex KZ2), Beganovic (S – Tony Kart-Vortex OK), Bedrin (RUS – Tony Kart-Vortex OKJ) and Macintyre (GB – Parolin-TM 60mini) heading to the next round of Angerville (F) as leaders on april 28^th.

The presence of WSK cameras will capture all the racing action on the closing day, Sunday, March 31st. The appointment with the live-streaming of Prefinals and Finals of all categories will begin at 10:00. All drivers already started to challenge each other in qualifying practice and heats to secure a place for the decisive races on Sunday.

The 2019 IAME X30 Euro Series has officially started this Friday in Belgium as the 172 drivers entering the opening round of the series hosted by RGMMC have hit the “Karting des Fagnes” of Mariembourg for the Qualifying Sessions. At the end of the day, each of the four classes was topped by one driver, Freddie Slater in Mini, Wigot Edqvist in Junior, Rimmo Kadapik in Senior and Kevin Lüdi in Super Shifter, all heading for the Qualifying Heats on Saturday and the finals on Sunday. The Finals on Sunday delivered their great racing with the first wins of 2019 going to Freddie Slater in Mini, Jason Leung in Junior, Callum Bradshaw in Senior and Philipp Seewer in Shifter.
