About a month after the previous round in Monza, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is back in action this weekend at the prestigious Zandvoort circuit. This event marks the ninth out of the ten double-header races scheduled on the calendar.

The magical moment of G4 Racing and Alessandro Giusti in the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is continuing. Lining up at Monza, the French rookie impressed again in race 1, taking his third victory of the season after starting from the second row.

This weekend marks one of the most anticipated events of the 2023 season, as the circus returns to Italy to compete on the iconic track of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Monza‘s first race of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine delivered a series of twists and turns, both during the race and after the checkered flag. Crossing the finish line first was championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Prema Racing, who showcased his prowess with two impressive overtakes. Antonelli passed his pole-sitting teammate Rafael Camara at the Roggia chicane and later surged past Marcus Amand (ART Grand Prix) while he was leading the race, during the initial stages. However, Antonelli received a 10-second penalty for an early use of the push-to-pass system, dropping him out of the points zone.
