Birel ART shone again in Las Vegas with a fine victory at the SKUSA Supernats XXVII. Daniel Vasile (Italkart) won the Pro Shifter category, continuing from Matheus Morgatto's domination until two laps from the finish of the Final after an incredible comeback. Pedro Hiltbrand meanwhile made up five places to take 2nd place on the podium. Cristian Bertuca maintained a very fast pace throughout the race, but was unlucky in the Final, while Jordon Lennox made a remarkable comeback by finishing in the top 15 after moving up six places.

The 26th edition of the Winter Cup was not held in February as usual, but in November on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. The rain, which was getting heavier and heavier, made the Final stages more difficult. Dutchman Marijn Kremers, who comes from a seafaring background, won the KZ2 race thanks to his fighting spirit and impressive control in the downpour, a week after Alessandro Buran and the Renda Motorsport team won the 49th Trofeo delle Industrie in KZ2 at Lonato.

The team did an excellent job at the South Garda Karting circuit and took bronze medal in KZ2 with Pedro Hiltbrand. The Leclerc by Lennox Racing team put the icing on the cake in Lonato to end the European season. The CL chassis produced by Birel ART and powered by TM Racing proved to be extremely competitive in KZ2 as well as in OKJ, both in dry and wet conditions.

19 names have been confirmed by the Racing department of the Italian company, which will be present in all categories, from Mini to KZ, OKJ, OK and KZ2. They will soon be joined by a driver from the "Richard Mille Young Talent Academy" programme who is still to be nominated.

Two weeks before the launch of the FIA European Karting Championship - OK and Junior on the same track, the first round of the new Champions of the Future series was a test with LeCont tyres in both categories.

The resumption of racing is approaching also for Charles Leclerc by Lennox Racing Team, which has been engaged in test days at the South Garda Karting in Lonato for the last few weeks.

Alex Irlando fights for podium positions and posts the fastest lap time, but in the second part of the race, he is forced to slow down and finishes in P4. 

In Lonato, Giuseppe Palomba and Riccardo Longhi have just given the Birel ART Racing Team a formidable double win in KZ2 to conclude the 25th Winter Cup, during which the Lissone brand put in an exceptional performance. Barely five months after winning the World KZ Championship on the same track, Birel ART shows its ambitions for 2020 in the first KZ2 competition.

Last month Scuderia Ferrari Formula One driver Charles Leclerc launched his own kart brand in association with Birel ART, and local Dubai Kartdrome racer Jamie Day, who has already tested and raced on the chassis, has been officially selected to be a factory driver running under the established Lennox Racing Team based in Italy.

The news has made a big impact in the industry and beyond thanks to the incredible popularity of the Monegasque prodigy whose recent exploits at the wheel of his Ferrari F1 have delighted motorsport enthusiasts around the world.

The very first initiative for detecting young talent launched by Richard Mille last year, in close collaboration with Birel ART, was a true success. The Richard Mille Young Talent Academy is already preparing for its second edition, which will take place on 3rd, 4th and 5th December 2019 at the Bugatti Le Mans circuit with 18 young drivers from all over the world.

Successfully launched in 2018, the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy will offer another chance for Birel ART kart racing drivers from around the world to make their mark in single-seaters this December. The result of a close collaboration between the Richard Mille brand and the Birel ART group, this completely free training and talent detection operation will award the 2019 winner with a full season in the FIA 2020 French F4 Championship.

Thanks to the support of Richard Mille, Birel ART has taken up the challenge of creating a real bridge between karting and cars. This great first, marked by undeniable success, is expected to continue with Birel ART drivers selected from their country by the brand's distributors as well as the Birel ART Racing Team. After a rigorous selection procedure, the French driver Enzo Valente stood out. His participation in the 2019 French F4 Championship will be fully supported under the colours of Richard Mille.

Suleiman Zanfari competed in the third round of the UAE IAME Series on Friday, 23rd November, at the RAK Track circuit in Ras Al Khaimah, about 100 kilometres northeast of Dubai. The young Moroccan driver, used to racing in many countries, was taking part in his first race in the Middle East. This time he took the wheel of a Birel ART chassis in the X30 Junior category. After a start of the meeting dedicated to learning, he made constant progress up to 2nd position in the Final.

27 of the main international distributors of Birel ART met for two days at the heart of the Italian company in Lissone for their now traditional annual meeting. A unique opportunity for meetings and exchanges, this seminar confirms the privileged place of Birel ART in 21st century karting. The main thrusts of the strategy concerning racing, as well as in rental, a sector of the future in full development, were at the heart of the debates.
