The Italian ACI Karting Championship has scored another presence record on June 9th at the circuit of Siena: 283 drivers are present in the categories KZ2, 60 Mini, KZN Under, KZN Over, Iame X30 Junior and Senior. Qualifying practice took place on Friday, while heats will follow on Friday and the double finals will be on Sunday, June 9th, starting from 10:20.

The Italian ACI Karting Championship at the Circuit of Siena, where the new attendance record was registered with 283 riders, proposed the first major protagonists of this second Tricolor race on 7-9 June. Not without a few surprises after the qualifying practice on Friday and above all after the qualifying heats on Saturday's intense day.

Pietro Delli Guanti won the International Senior Rok Final 2018. Regarding the other positions just after the Champion the situation was not definitive due to a penalty of 10’’ inflicted to the second classified Molinari after a sporting decision of the Stewards. 

For the fourth time, the FIA ​​Karting Endurance Championship will take place at Le Mans within the 34th edition of the 24 Hours Karting from 27th to 29th September 2019. Like last year karting will share the poster with the very popular 24 Hours Trucks as part of a dynamic established by the ACO.

The Finn driver will be at the start with team SC Performance. Lanzeni also the debut with team CKR. On track in Siena 60 Mini, KZN Under and Over, Iame X30 Junior and Senior on June 9th.

Victories to Cunati and Irlando in KZ2's finals, Macintyre and Powell victorious in Mini, Bertuca and Pulito in X30 Junior, a double win for Villa in X30 Senior and for Rangone in Rok Junior, Rok Senior's wins to Molinari and Locatelli.

Alex Powell's last two races in Italy and France have further proved that the young and talented Jamaican kart racer remains one of the top drivers in the 60 Mini category. In mid-April at Lonato, Italy, Alex finished 5th in the prestigious Andrea Margutti Trophy. Two weeks later, the driver from the Energy Corse team scored significant points at the WSK Euro Series in France at Angerville, near Paris, thanks to a 2nd place in the Prefinal and a 6th in the Final. Between these two events, Alex went to Florida, to the Homestead circuit in South Miami, where he won brilliantly in Mini Swift.

Spectacle and organization have been the ingredients of the success of the 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy. The winners of the 6 categories on track are Denner (Sodikart, KZ2), Bertini Colla (OK, KR), Wernersson (OKJ, Kosmic), Bergstrom (Mini, Parolin), Villa (Iame X30, TBKart) and Leonardi (KFA).

Qualifying heats on Saturday showed the pace of the main protagonists but Prefinals will be crucial on Sunday morning (at 11.45) to get the best starting places on the Final starting grids (at 14.20). The appointment with the live-streaming of Prefinals and Finals of all categories will begin at 11:45.

Lap times have highlighted the speed of the first protagonists of this great International Karting event that is celebrating its 30th edition at the South Garda Karting in Lonato. The charm of edition 30 of the Andrea Margutti Trophy has had its first racing day on Friday, April 5th with 237 verified drivers out of the entered 251 coming from 40 different Countries.

Apulian Alex Irlando is ready for his third race in a row in Angerville (FR) on occasion of the FFSA French OK Championship.

Enzo Peugeot is competing in his fourth season of Karting. At 13 years old, this Beaune native takes everything he can to succeed. 2019 will see him starting in the highest class in his age group, at the heart of the cosmopolitan fields of the European and World FIA Karting Championships. Since the winter break, he has already taken part in three events, in three different countries, and has just taken his first victory at the Genk circuit with his new team VDK Racing. The 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy, race scheduled for next April 4th – 7th at South Garda Karting in Lonato, registered a good participation.

A record participation of 550 drivers took part in the two rounds of the 30th Spring Trophy,  whose two rounds have been held on March 17th and 31st, 2019, in Lonato. The winners of the Spring Trophy are Dante (KZ2), Cesari (KZN Under), Nalon (KZN Over), Blum (60 Mini) and Giusto (Entry Level).

Queenslander Jason Faint has taken a memorable victory in the second round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE, in Newcastle NSW. Faint led home last round winner Troy Loeskow and perennial front runner, Christopher Hays in Sunday afternoon’s KZ2 Championship final.

The Italian ACI Karting 2019 Championship will feature 5 rounds in Castelletto on May 12th, Siena on June 9th, Sarno on July 7th, Adria on July 28th and Val Vibrata on September 1st. Entitled categories are 60 Mini, KZ2, KZN Under, KZN Over, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, Rok Junior and Rok Senior.
