Karting Australia events across the Country continue to thrive as the karting community tackles the ‘Road out of Lockdown’. For those States that have been consistently able to hold events in a COVIDSafe Environment throughout July and August, participation numbers have increased 23% on the corresponding period in 2019.

Having just completed its 25th year in 2019, the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix kart race has announced a new partnership designed to ensure this great event continues for another 25 years. It was announced earlier this year that the race has been suspended for 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions but will return in 2021.

Hamda Al Qubaisi tamed the mighty Imola track this weekend in round 2 of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. Despite not knowing the track, one of the toughest on the schedule, the Emirati female racer got up to speed and finished the weekend oh a high note.

At the Imola racing track in round 2 off the Italian Formul 4 Championship Andrea Rosso is spectacular in attacking the pair of Red Bull Junior Team drivers, Edgar and Crawford, conquering the first position. Behind him an exceptional Pizzi and Edgar who obtain the podium.

For round 2 in the Italian Formula 4 Championchip on the Imola racing track it was a difficult race for everyone with the track getting wet just before the start, fitting of rain tires by everyone, rolling start and the safety car entry twice. In the end the podium sees Edgar, Crawford and Rosso, the Italian also first in the Rookie classification.

At the start of Round 2 in the Italian F4 Championship on the famous Imola racetrack Dino Beganovic is attacked after a few corners and overtaken by Jonny Edgar, who then goes long and is overtaken by Filip Ugran, who holds out until victory.

Hamda Al Qubaisi will be back running this weekend at Imola for Abu Dhabi Racing in the second round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. The Emirati racer, back from a fruitful testing session at Zandvoort, will make her debut at the challenging Italian facility, a flowing, fast and exciting course on the hills just outside the city.

Van Amersfoort Racing happily announces the joining of Cenyu Han. The Nanjing, China born youngster, currently residing in Milan, Italy, steps into single seater racing as a Rosberg Racing Academy graduate, a karting talent development program initiated by F1 World Champion Nico Rosberg.
