The 26th edition of the Winter Cup was not held in February as usual, but in November on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. The rain, which was getting heavier and heavier, made the Final stages more difficult. Dutchman Marijn Kremers, who comes from a seafaring background, won the KZ2 race thanks to his fighting spirit and impressive control in the downpour, a week after Alessandro Buran and the Renda Motorsport team won the 49th Trofeo delle Industrie in KZ2 at Lonato.

The team did an excellent job at the South Garda Karting circuit and took bronze medal in KZ2 with Pedro Hiltbrand. The Leclerc by Lennox Racing team put the icing on the cake in Lonato to end the European season. The CL chassis produced by Birel ART and powered by TM Racing proved to be extremely competitive in KZ2 as well as in OKJ, both in dry and wet conditions.

The Winter Cup started in dry conditions and ended in heavy rain. In all conditions, Senna Van Walstijn and Adrien Renaudin set a particularly strong pace in the KZ2 race at the wheel of their Sodi-TM Racing packages from the CPB Sport team. Van Walstijn's performance was rewarded with a podium finish, while Renaudin came close to the same reward!

The prestigious Endurance Karting event promoted by CRG will be back in 2022 and will take place on 26th and 27th March, on the Italian racetrack in Adria. After the limitations due to Covid this year, the organizers were convinced to move this event to June, but the 5th edition of the karting marathon that CRG organizes with its Honda-powered Centurion Rental Karts will be back to its usual timing at the end of March.

Rock Island, Illinois - Dates have been set for the 27^th running of the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix, the world’s largest karting street race, on Sept 3-4, 2022. The race lineup and rules are expected to be similar to 2021, with some changes under discussion. Organizers say, after hopefully moving out of the Covid era, racers can expect race details to be announced much earlier in 2022. The 2021 season for the California ProKart Challenge is set to close out next weekend (October 2-3) at the CalSpeed Karting facility. The Fontana, California circuit outside the Auto Club Speedway is hosting the sixth and final round of the championship chase. The program contested a double-round weekend here back in June, with this single-round event set to battle around the ‘Classico’ layout in the counter-clockwise direction. Action in Fontana will be the final step of the 2021 championship program, with drivers taking the best five of six rounds toward the final standings.

The California ProKart Challenge hosted the penultimate round of the 2021 season on the September 11-12 weekend at the Willow Springs International Raceway. The Rosamond, California facility has been the site of many Superkarts! USA regional program events in the past, including both the famed Streets of Willow course and the karting circuit. Classes and first round of invited drivers for Race of Stars

The Race of Stars is set to return in 2018 on October 11-13 with Australia’s, and many of the world's, best kart drivers converging at the Xtreme Karting facility on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

The invitational event will again be a part of the excitement in the lead up to the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 Supercar event and will showcase karting to the wider motorsport community and general public.

Being a ‘jewel in the crown’ for Australian karting, the concept of the Race of Stars sees highly credentialed drivers in the KZ2, DD2, TaG 125, KA3 Senior, KA2, KA3 Junior, KA4 Junior and Cadet 12 Classes suiting up.

Courtesy of their performances in various National and State Championship and Series’ across the Country, the drivers listed below are the first to receive an invite.

Only invited drivers are eligible to compete and these drivers can only compete in the Classes they have been invited in. It is important that the drivers in this first round of invitations confirm their intention to compete at their earliest convenience by completing the Registration Form here by Monday July 30. The invitation is not transferable to another driver.

Once the deadline for invited drivers has passed, should the track capacity not be reached by the invited drivers, requests will be distributed for interested drivers from both Australia and Overseas to fill the remaining places on the grid.

As has been the case in previous years, there is no pre-event testing at the venue allowed by any invited competitor after Monday July 30.

The Supplementary Regulations for this event will be available in the near future. Entries will open shortly after.
