Very well established thanks to the efforts of importer Nash Motorsportz, Energy Corse enjoys an excellent reputation on the American continent. Success is never far away for the Italian brand, which has just achieved magnificent performances at the famous Supernationals in Las Vegas, including a victory in the KA100 Senior and a 2nd place in X30 Senior.

The second event of the United States Pro Kart Series was held over the weekend (April 28-May 1) as OTK USA continued its success during the first half of the 2022 season. The Carolina Grand Prix was contested on the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina with perfect racing weather greeting the over 300 entries in the seven categories offered. Of the 14 main events on the weekend, OTK drivers and teams grabbed nine victories with 25 standing on the podium steps in addition to 53 finishes inside the top-five.

After a two-year absence, the premier endurance event, the 24 Hours Karting of Le Mans, is making a comeback in 2022.

The 32nd edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy has been postponed to May 2nd, 2021.

Confirmations and surprising results at the Andrea Margutti Trophy in Castelletto. The victories went to Senna Van Valstijn in KZ2, Alex Powell in OKJ, René Lammers in International MINI, Clement Outran in X30 Junior and  Edoardo Ludovico Villa in  X30 Senior.

The 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy will get underway in the weekend of November 15th at the International Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia). After being postponed twice due to the Covid-19 emergency, the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy is ready to take place at the Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo in the weekend of November 15th, in the due respect of the sanitary regulations that allows events and competitions recognized as having International interest by the Sporting National Federations.

The fourth round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship kicked off the final sprint in the Italian campaign with Palomba and Lombardo taking the win in KZ2, Amendola and Apicella in International MINI, Sardo and Sala in National Mini, Abbate and Megna in Rok Junior, Locatelli and Gaglianò in Rok Senior, Scognamiglio and Al Dhaheri in X30 Junior, as Carenini secured a double win in X30 Senior.

Luca Cavalli owned Team Mercury is all set to take part in the Italian Karting Championship from the next round that is scheduled for this coming weekend in Sarno (August 27-30). The team will benefit from the direct technical support of CRG.

In these difficult times, the prognosis for the sporting schedule is uncertain. One thing is certain, the Arena 45 Grand Prix will take place at Valence, even if the date has to be postponed to better times. In the face of the changing health situation, opening entries is no longer a priority. Arena 45 will announce a new date as soon as the situation becomes clearer. As to whether the Arena 45 Grand Prix can take place as planned from 5th to 9th August 2020, it is too early to say. In any case, the flagship event at Valence is not in question. If the date has to be postponed, it will be postponed and the organisers will follow the decisions taken by the authorities.

On track categories MINI, OKJ, KZ2, Iame X30 Senior and X30 Junior. Entry lists to open on February 3rd 2020. In the world of motorsports, few races can be billed as the race of the year, but time and time again the SKUSA SuperNationals have been dubbed the pinnacle karting event of the year. It is poised once again to be “the race of the year.” SKUSA SuperNationals karting event is from 20th to 24th November in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From Lonato to Le Mans, the Energy Corse brand has gained victories and podiums in particularly difficult and challenging events. Indeed, both the Rok Cup Superfinal and the IAME International Final each brought together entries of more than 400 drivers! This did not prevent the Energy Corse team from achieving the double in Mini Rok with Alex Powell and Dmitry Matveev in Italy or from taking a magnificent 2nd place in X30 Junior in France with Robert De Haan, also awarded the German Championship in OK-Junior a few days earlier. 

Cunati dominated KZ2 and won the Italian title. Macintyre is the new 60 Mini Champion, Cesari that of KZN Under, Pagani won KZN Over, Pulito X30 Junior and Villa X30 Senior.

Ragone and Molinari claimed the first Italian titles of Rok Junior and Rok Senior. Cunati strengthened its KZ2 lead as Tonteri and Iacovacci took the wins. Double win in 60 Mini for Kutskov, while Gallo and Trulli won X30 Junior, and Carenini twice in Senior.

Maranello Kart lived a bitter-sweet racing weekend in Sarno at the third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship. Francesco Iacovacci has always been among the quickest at the International Circuit Napoli over the weekend. Iacovacci claimed a great P4 in KZ2’s race-1, but an incident in race-2 slowed his title quest down and now he is third at only 27 points from the leader. Great double win for Trefilovs and SRP Racing Team in KZ2 at the Adac Kart Masters in Oschersleben. 

The Italian driver won Race1 and came second in Race2 closing in on Cunati that retained the lead of KZ2 but was quite unlucky in Sarno. The third round of the Italian Championship has made the campaign lively in all classifications.
