At the Mariembourg circuit, the fourteen-year-old driver from the Belgian town of Amel finished second in the IAME X30 Junior category during the fifth round of the championship. Known for historically providing unpredictable weather and great racing, once again the “Home of Champions” karting track of Genk did not disappoint. With almost 200 of the best IAME teams and drivers taking the challenge in the three categories, it was once again demonstrated that the series is rightfully renowned for its high level of participants.

His results in Genk gradually improved over the weekend, culminating in second place in the final of the IAME X30 Junior category. No wonder Anthony Bongartz, racing for the Eurokarting Team was happy to tell his story after the fourth round of the GK4 Kart Series. It was the season's first podium for the 13-year-old talented driver from the Belgian town of Amel. 

After a break of two months, the drivers of the IAME Series Benelux can resume the competition! More than 250 drivers make their appearance in Genk, during the Belgian national holiday weekend, for the third race of the season. Even if this stage may not be decisive yet, it could be a turning point in the championship.
