Immediately after the start of the European OK and OK-Junior Championship in Portimão, the Birel ART Racing team headed to Spain to participate in the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Zuera. The Birel ART / TM Racing packages from the Red Army showed an excellent level of performance.

The 2019 FIA ​​Karting World Championship - OK and Junior has been awarded at the Finnish circuit of Alahärmä and has rewarded two highly-talented Drivers after a particularly difficult Competition. Lorenzo Travisanutto (ITA) won his second consecutive World title in OK, while Thomas Ten Brinke (NLD) was crowned Junior Champion after dominating with flying colours. 24 Qualifying Heats out of 36 took place on Saturday, 7th September on the Alahärmä track as part of the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - OK & Junior. Although it is impossible to know the actual and final positions before Sunday at midday, the day highlighted very positive performances by some participants, while others were falling behind due to the pitfalls of the weather and the very selective Finnish circuit.

The French Kart Grand Prix started in hot sunshine on Friday, 19th July on the circuit of Le Mans. Once the final Free Practice was over, the 146 participants of the fourth and final FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior Competition went out for their Qualifying Practice. Martinius Kleve Stenshorne (NOR) and Kobe Pauwels (BEL) were the Polemen of the day for the first time.

The weather of Friday 31st May gave a glimpse of what Sweden's weather could do to the participants of the FIA ​​Karting - OK & Junior European Championship on the Kristianstad circuit. Light persistent rain, a dry track and clear sunshine followed each other to give a wide range of grip conditions depending on the tyres and settings used. With all Qualifying on a dry track, Qualifying Practice ended with the first Pole Positions for Andrea Kimi Antonelli in Junior and Dexter Patterson in OK.

Near Paris, the Angerville track hosts an international race after having hosted the famous 2006 World Championship for Formula A and the U18 World Championship in 2012. Its 1198 m long recently re-homologated circuit has undergone slight adjustments to follow the evolution of standards, but still has its special character, both technical and selective.

The 2019 FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior retain the usual pattern of four meetings in France, Belgium and Sweden. The list of entries for the first Competition in Angerville (FRA) confirms the attractiveness of the international categories with 163 Drivers registered, 73 in OK and 90 in OK-Junior. Five continents and 36 nationalities will be represented with distribution balanced between France, Finland and Italy, as the most numerous, as well as Russia, Spain, Great Britain and Sweden.
