The 1^st Round of the FIA ​​European Championship for the KZ and KZ2 classes is scheduled for this weekend in Wackersdorf, from the 17^th to the 20^th of June. In the first change of 2021, the official racing team of the Parolin Racing Kart factory has changed its name to become Parolin Motorsport Srl, a racing team in its own right. After its numerous successes in Mini, OK-Junior and OK, Parolin will make its big comeback in KZ with strong ambitions. In total, this season the Parolin Motorsport team will include 18 drivers from 13 nations in the four international categories, while technical collaboration continues with the TM Racing factory.

CRG has made official the first piece of its drivers’ line-up for 2021 by announcing Alex Irlando for the KZ category. The agreement with the Apulian driver is part of a large project to strengthen its Racing Team, which CRG is undertaking especially for the KZ categories.

On several occasions, the Frenchman has given his experienced opponents a hard time, becoming a key member of the Sodikart team. His status as a professional karting Driver makes him happy, aware that many other Drivers would like to take his place. Now, he hopes to take up many more challenges at the highest level...

The Birel ART brand continues to win at the highest level worldwide! And if it isn't with the official team, success comes with a private team, demonstrating once again that the Italian chassis is indeed the current benchmark in the KZ and KZ2 categories. Simone Cunati dominated the Final of the KZ2 International Super Cup masterfully, while Giuseppe Palomba ensured a double despite starting in 7th position. 2019 World Champion and reigning European KZ Champion Marijn Kremers, his Ricciardo Kart colours and TM engine were just 4 tenths from a new title. They clinched the Vice-World Championship after a difficult but perfectly managed event by Birel ART.

At the end of the spectacular Finals, the Frenchman Jeremy Iglesias was crowned FIA Karting World Champion - KZ. The Italian Simone Cunati won the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 and the Israel's Ariel Elkin won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy Final, while the American Connor Zilisch won the Trophy.

South Garda Karting circuit at Lonato has been asked to host the FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 and the third competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy from 2nd to 4th October.
