Rotax Karting is excited to announce a new chapter in its U.S. operations with the appointment of KSG as a key business partner. KSG will take over the responsibilities of both existing distributors – RTX and J3 –, bringing economic leverage, a deep passion for motorsport, and a unified network to elevate the Rotax karting business in the U.S. to an even higher level.

The RMC Asia Festival, a marquee event for racing enthusiasts since its inception in 2022, is gearing up for its next edition with some exciting updates. This prestigious karting event, which has drawn competitors from across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, will see an evolution in both its organizing team and event name as it moves to Thailand’s historic Bira Circuit where it takes place from January 17-19, 2025.

Another milestone in the long-lasting history of Rotax Karting took place this week: the 125.000th edition of a Rotax 125 MAX engine left the assembly line at BRP-Rotax in Gunskirchen, Austria. Introduced in 1997, the Rotax 125 MAX engine can proudly be named a success story.

BRP-Rotax together with EIKO Motorsport, the Rotax authorized distributor for the territories JAPAN, TAIWAN, CHINA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, BRUNEI, VIETNAM, CAMBODIA, LAOS, HONGKONG, MACAU and PHILIPPINES would like to inform that they have decided to hand-over the distributorship for the territory of Philippines by May 01^st, 2022. The subsequent transfer of the business and the network to the new partner has been agreed and BRP-Rotax is pleased to inform that Sunstate Machinery Corporation will be the new partner for Philippines. 

It is with great excitement that we announce a new dawn for karting - Karting SA  (sanctioned by World of Motorsport South Africa - WOMZA). For far too long, the Rotax Max Challenge Series has been subjected to unpopular regulations and changes by MSA and its appointees which often are not even involved in karting at all. We are therefore creating a dedicated karting regulating body that listens to karters, clubs, promoters, circuits, etc. when making decisions.

BRP-Rotax is excited to announce that the company Murray Motorsport has been appointed as the authorized distributor for the Republic of Ireland for Rotax karting products as of January 01, 2021. Up to now the territory of Ireland has been served by the UK distributor JAG, who has established a sales- and service network serving Irish customers over the past years and managed that Rotax MAX categories have been part of the national championship organized by the ASN Motorsport Ireland.
