VRD Racing Confirms GB3 Championship Plans for 2025

VRD Racing has announced its commitment to the GB3 Championship for the 2025 season and beyond. The team will compete exclusively under the VRD Racing name, marking a new chapter in its journey within the series.

Since joining the GB3 Championship in 2022, VRD Racing has achieved significant success, including six victories and a commendable third-place finish in the Team Championship in 2023, in collaboration with Arden Motorsport.

As part of its preparations for the upcoming season, VRD Racing has placed orders for three of the new Tatuus MSV GB3-025 cars. Under the leadership of Team Principal Dan Mitchell, the American squad is dedicated to providing talented North American racers with invaluable opportunities in European junior motorsport.

Dan Mitchell stated: “After a challenging season, we are focused on restructuring and preparing to return stronger than ever in 2025. Our goal is to compete for wins and championships right from the start. We’re thrilled to announce the impending delivery of the all-new GB3-025. While we continue to test our current car and analyse our performance in 2024, we are genuinely excited for a fresh start in 2025."

“It is an honour to be given this opportunity by GB3 and MSV to compete in what I believe is the premier development formula for young drivers. Maintaining and strengthening our presence in the championship is vital for us as we establish ourselves further in Europe. The new car for 2025 is a serious piece of engineering, and the grid next year promises to be exceptional—we simply had to be part of it. We will continue to use GB3 as a platform to advance the careers of our most talented American racers. GB3 is the series to achieve that goal."
