The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy started its second half of the season last weekend in Belgian Mariembourg. On the 1,388m long Kart des Fagnes track, 163 drivers from all over the world started into the end phase of this year’s RMCET season. In thrilling races, some new faces ended up on the leading positions of the individual grades again. In the end, there were four early title winners next to day winners.

The 2021 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals moved into the Pre-Final stages of the event here in Bahrain, as further excitement lay in store for all the drivers around the challenging and fast-flowing 1.414-km circuit. Not only was the surrounding temperature courtesy of the sunshine beating down from up above just as intense as it has been all week, but the action out on track would again welcome the aura of nighttime and floodlight-covered racing.

On this 5th Day of the RMC Grand Finals in Bahrain we saw a lot of exciting action on the track and very motivated racers throughout the whole event area. Yesterday’s racing was very crucial to see where drivers would place for today’s Pre-Finals, as the combination from the intense 27-degree heat at its highest, the general atmosphere and the sheer racing action and thrilling fights would heighten both, the emotions of everyone at the circuit and those watching on from the official Live Stream.

Following on from two days of Non-Qualifying Practice at the circuit, it was time to get the racing action underway amidst the sandy surroundings, with an increase in the air temperature at the track providing a perfect backdrop to the excitement of Qualifying Practice and the first set of Qualifying Heats for all competitors.

Let’s take a look back to the Welcome GetTogether which took place yesterday evening at the spacious Formula 1 paddock and let’s review this second day on which the motivated racers had their first time on track with their brand new karts for the non-qualifying practices. The beginning of these NQ-practices have been scheduled very late so that the racers had the opportunity to drive in the floodlight for the first time in this week.

The Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf (Germany) was the venue for the big season finale of the 2021 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy from September 3rd to 5th, 2021. After stops at Genk (BEL), Adria (ITA) and Mülsen (GER), the European RMC elite fought for the last championship points of the year in the region of Bavaria. More than 100 drivers in the categories of Junior MAX, Senior, MAX, Rotax DD2, DD2 Masters as well as the Rotax Project E20 Tour, which was part of the supporting program, attended the event. Racing conditions could not have been better as the weather made for a sunny and hot weekend.

Genk. Last weekend, the half-time event of the German Kart Championship took place. 130 drivers started at this year's only event abroad in Belgian Genk. Especially on Sunday, the weather caused a lot of excitement. In the end, there were ten different winners among the five grade series.

From July 16th to 18th, 2021, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy made its debut in the Arena E at Mülsen (GER). For the first time, the European RMC elite visited the 1,315 metre-long circuit in Eastern Germany, where the third and penultimate round of the season heralded the crucial phase of the series. The weather was mixed; after sunshine on Friday, the heats took place in rainy weather before the final day was dry again.

Last weekend, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) broke new ground. For the first time, the drivers from eight nations started at the Arena E in Mülsen. During the races, there were lots of fights for positions – Theo Kekati from the United Arab Emirates and Dutchman  Luca Nieuwenhuizen were the happy winners.
