What a great and exciting day here at the 20th edition of the RMC Grand Finals 2019. After the traditional drivers parade of all the participating nations in the morning, we saw 360 of the best kart-drivers of the world competing for the title. Thrilling and amazing action on the track impressed as one of the closest competitions in the history of the Grand Finals. The deserving winners were crowned this afternoon during the prize-giving ceremony before the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Grand Finals at the Drivers Party.

Welcome back on this very hot and anticipated day of the 20th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) here at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno. After the all-important track walks at sunset yesterday evening, today was an exciting Welcome to the third day of the RMC Grand Finals 2019 and the second day of track action, with three more non-qualifying practice sessions for each driver. In addition, it was the beginning of free practice for the Rotax THUNDeR E-Karts which silently hit the track. After the initial day of practice yesterday when everyone was getting more familiar with the circuit, the drivers appeared to be pushing a hard started to push harder from the morning. The temperature on the circuit during the first round of the non-qualifying sessions was around 16 degrees, with minimal wind, making the morning very similar to the first practice sessions yesterday. and electrifying atmosphere in the drivers tent before they were able to make their first rounds in their karts.

The German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) celebrated its racing premiere last weekend in Bavarian Ampfing. The first pure electric kart racing series in the world started on the Schweppermannring for the first time and experienced partly thrilling races. The victories went to the two title favorites Luka Wlömer and Jasin Ferati.

Genk. Last weekend, the five DMSB grade series had their second foreign round in Belgian Genk. On the international top track, 178 drivers started and created high tension regarding the fights for the titles this year. Right before the final event, all championship decisions are still to be made.

The German Electric Kart Championship’s season half-time took place in Belgian Genk last weekend (2nd to 4th of August). The 1.360m long top track was the location of the half-time races in the first pure Electric Kart racing series in the world. Swiss Jasin Ferati impressed with a four-time victory.

Last weekend (July 12th – 14th), the next event took place in Kerpen and numerous spectators got to see thrilling kart racing on the Erftlandring. The interntional field of participants fought thrilling duels. Guest driver and DTM driver Ferdinand Habsburg stood on the third place of the podium on Sunday.
