It will be Lorenzo Patrese who will start from pole position on the Monza track. The son of the six time Formula One Grand Prix winner Riccardo, fighting for the rookie championship, sets the fastest lap on the circuit which, in 1984, saw his father Riccardo stand on the third step of the podium in the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix with Alfa Romeo. For Lorenzo Patrese, Monza marks the first pole position of his career and in the three races of the last round of the season he will have the advantage of starting at the front of the grid.
