A benchmark team in the international karting paddock, Energy Corse has not failed to put its drivers on the way to the podium in recent weeks. After his title in the WSK Super Master Series, Russian Dmitry Matveev won the first edition of the Champions of the Future series in 60 Mini. And at the OK-Junior World Championship in Portimao, Japan's Schu Dozono was a revelation in the colours of the Italian team. Once again, the experience and know-how of the technical staff played a big role in these successes.

From victory at the Winter Cup at the beginning of the season to successes in the WSK throughout the year, including a new European Championship, the Energy Corse brand and its official team completed a series of victorious meetings at the international level in 2019. All these trophies won by the drivers in the Energy Corse colours are the result of meticulous work to offer competitive equipment to the drivers, recognised technical knowledge and high quality racing team staff.

A very wet edition has been dominated by Giannoni in KZ2, who also won the overall Memorial Carlo Fabi. The Dutch Vanthoff won OK, Cenedese OK-Junior, the Russian Kutskov Minikart and Carenini X30 Senior. The 48th Trofeo delle Industrie has lived a very difficult edition due to the rain that made things tricky in qualifying practice and heats on Saturday and on Sunday, November 3rd, when the track was soaked for the final stages of the event organized by Parma Motorsport at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato.

Sweden's Emil Skaras and the Energy Corse team have confirmed their European KZ2 Championship win by mounting the third step of the podium of the International Super Cup, a true World Cup in this difficult category, which again assembled a field of more than 120 drivers at the Lonato circuit. The Circuit South Garda Karting has staged the event that awarded the FIA Karting World Championship KZ to the Dutch driver Marijn Kremers on BirelArt-Tm-Bridgestone and the International Super Cup KZ2 to the French Emilien Denner on Sodi-Tm-Bridgestone. The victory in Academy Trophy went to Singapore’s Christian Ho, but the title to the Lithuanian Kajus Siksnelis. The FIA Karting World Championship in Lonato will be remembered for the great participation and the new record of 260 drivers, but also for the exceptional presence of spectators. Such an amount of fans had not been seen at a karting track for a while and crowded the immense grandstand at the South Garda Karting circuit.

The last day of the Kart Grand Prix Italy was a success on the sporting level as well as a popular achievement. The forecast rain did not arrive to complicate the Competition and the Finals were able to deliver a superb show before the winners were revealed. After a long battle, Marijn Kremers (NLD) won the FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, while Emilien Denner (FRA) dominated the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 until the end. Christian Ho won the FIA Academy Trophy Final and Kajus Siksnelis was the winner of the season.

In Lonato, Saturday 21st September was dedicated to the Qualifying Heats. This essential phase of the karting Competition enables the selection of the 34 finalists in each category who will compete for the titles on Sunday afternoon. In sunny weather, the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - KZ, the FIA ​​Karting International Super Cup - KZ2, the third FIA Karting Academy Trophy Competition and the FIA ​​Karting Historic Super Cup put on a superb show for the many spectators around the world at the South Garda Karting circuit.

One of the most anticipated events of the season has just started in Lonato (ITA) on the Lombard track of South Garda Karting. The programme is tantalising with the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - KZ, the FIA ​​Karting International Super Cup - KZ2, the third FIA Karting Academy Trophy Competition and the FIA ​​Karting Historic Super Cup. In the late afternoon, Friday, 20th September, the Qualifying Practices set the first benchmarks for a top level sporting challenge that promises to be as intense as it is spectacular. Adrien Renaudin (FRA) shone in KZ, Emilien Denner (FRA) in KZ2 and Kajus Siksnelis (LTU) was fastest in the Academy.

The World Karting Championship will kick off on Wednesday, September 18th at the South Garda Karting circuit. The Live Timing feed will be active since free practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Qualifying will follow on Friday, heats on Saturday and Sunday morning as the finals will close the event on Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations to Robert De Haan in Academy, Emil Skaras in KZ2 and Anthony Abbasse in KZ, not to mention their brave opponents. The 2019 German Karting Grand Prix will also remain a milestone event of the season with its remarkably good organisation.

At Lonato, Alex Powell and Kirill Kutskov produced a remarkable double at the Winter Cup in Mini Rok. Energy Corse is certainly one of the best teams in terms of training young kart drivers.

As the sporting year draws to a close, successes have continued in recent weeks for the Energy Corse brand and especially for the factory team: WSK Final Cup champion, Las Vegas double podium, victory at the Industrial Trophy  and many other top fives ... The 2018 balance sheet can be considered excellent for Energy Corse, who have already begun preparing for 2019. From 60 Mini to KZ2, the doors of the Italian team are open to drivers hungry for wins!
