RMC Grand Finals 2024 official chassis partners confirmed for Sarno

Gunskirchen – The official chassis partners for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2024 have now been confirmed, as BRP-Rotax announces the manufacturers who will support all the qualified competitors with their brand new karts at the annual flagship event.

IP Karting with the Praga and Formula K brands, Birel ART and their signature Charles Leclerc kart, together with the World’s largest in the industry, Sodikart, will supply almost 400 chassis’ at the RMCGF when the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli, Italy hosts the event from October 19-26.

Beginning with the youngest class, the Formula K brand produced by IP Karting in Italy will make its very first appearance on the RMCGF world stage as the chosen chassis for the 36 Micro MAX drivers. The teal coloured kart is definitely not new to top competition or winning, with IPK excited to introduce their green racing prodigy. The brilliant blue Praga brand returns as the selected Junior MAX kart for the 72 competitors in this field. It almost 120 years since Praga as a brand itself was established in motor racing and the chassis manufacturer based near Verona has partnered Rotax at the season highlight event from the USA edition at New Orleans in 2013.

Another high profile Italian-based manufacturer located close to the iconic Monza circuit, with an incredibly long history in the sport dating back to 1959, is Birel ART. Since making its debut as a Rotax partner at the RMCGF in the United Arab Emirates at Al Ain Raceway back in 2011, the 25th year celebration of the prestigious event coincides this year with their own 65th anniversary. Birel ART will supply the 72-grid categories of Mini MAX and the 72 two-speed DD2 in Sarno with its own colours of the famous red kart. For the second year in succession, they will actively support the DD2 Masters class with the newer Charles Leclerc brand by Birel ART, another popular kart on the global platform for Rotax racers and fans of the former karting champion – now F1 driver.

The bright and energetic orange of Sodikart has been a familiar partner from 2010 at the RMCGF in La Conca, Italy. Having supported numerous Rotax MAX engine categories over this time, the French brand produced close to the western city of Nantes is a known world leader in karting. Although, the very first time a Sodikart chassis lined up at the Grand Finals as the new supplied chassis, not the comeptitors own kart, was actually 2004 as the RM1 class; now DD2. In 2024, the manufacturer with over 40 successful seasons to date will provide all 72 drivers of the hotly-contested Senior MAX class with their race material at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli. Adding to this, Sodikart are the official supplier once again this year for the karts fitted with the Rotax E-Powertrains for the two electric racing categories – the E20 Senior and E20 Masters.

“We are proud to announce our valued long-time chassis partners as official suppliers to the RMCGF 2024, which we have come to know and trust can deliver on all counts for our world-wide RMC qualified drivers,” said Peter Oelsinger, General Manager BRP-Rotax / Member of the Management Board, Vice President Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications. “The service, professionalism and technical support provided from each of the three manufacturer teams, combined with the parity and performance of the Rotax engines and E-Powertrains, offers every participant the optimum chance to race on a level playing field.
