Qualifying for the opening round of the Italian F4 Championship at the Misano World Circuit has come to an end. Luka Sammalisto, the Finnish driver for US Racing, set the fastest overall time with a 1’35.492 lap, securing pole position for Race 2 and Race 3 at the head of Group A. On this track, which has already brought so much success to the Italian manufacturer Kart Republic in the past, a sensational overall result rewarded the outstanding level of performance of the KR-IAME karts: a one-two in OK with Noah Baglin and Niklas Schaufler, and another in OK-Junior with Will Green and Priam Bruno.

The opening two rounds of the 2026 Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge were held over the April 24-26 weekend at K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility welcomed the SKUSA regional program for rounds one and two of action to begin the six-round championship schedule. A total of 11 categories began the title chase for the 2026 season with five drivers able to leave the opening weekend with two wins toward their point total.
