The Franciacorta Karting Track is gearing up to host the first round of the WSK Final Cup with 320 entered drivers.

Few drivers can claim to have done what Zyed Dieudonne achieved on Sunday: going from 30th place to victory. The young karting talent pulled off the remarkable feat at Genk during the IAME Series Benelux. At just nine years old, the Verviers-based driver won the fifth round of the championship in the Mini Rookie class – in his very first race with a brand-new chassis.

Setting the fastest time in qualifying was only the beginning of what would turn into an exceptional weekend. On Sunday, young karting talent Milo Cornil won the fifth round of the IAME Series Benelux. At the Genk circuit, the eleven-year-old from Vaudignies was the standout driver in the Mini class, making it his second victory of the season. “When I crossed the finish line, I was really happy to have scored points for the championship and to be on the podium,” says Milo.

He had dominated every session of the weekend, so his victory in Saturday’s final almost seemed inevitable. At the Genk circuit, the 13-year-old from Givry was the strongest driver throughout the fifth round of the IAME Series Benelux. He secured his first win of the season in IAME X30 Junior.

Four-time Formula One World Champion Max Verstappen, who recently extended his contract with Oracle Red Bull Racing until the end of 2030, will return to his racing roots on September 16. At the Silverstone circuit in England, he will attempt to chase down 100 drivers. At the Kristianstad circuit in Sweden, the venue for the fourth and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship, their Tony Kart Racer 401 T dominated the ‘Junior’ final and narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the ‘Senior’ class.

Parolin Motorsport completed the FIA Karting European Championship season at Kristianstad with a commanding OK victory for William Calleja and a podium for Dean Hoogendoorn. Calleja won every race he contested before dominating the Final, while Hoogendoorn finished 3rd to secure the same position in the Championship. Gioele Girardello ended the OK-Junior campaign 4th in the standings after showing front-running pace, and Troy Ferguson produced an exceptional 21-place recovery in the Final.

The KR-IAME teams travelled to Sweden to contest the two FIA Karting European Championship titles in the OK and OK-Junior classes. Mission accomplished with a one-two finish in OK thanks to Noah Baglin and Zac Drummond, as well as a clean sweep of the top three places in OK-Junior with Will Green, Daniel Miron Lorente and Many Nuvolini. The Tony Kart Racer 401 T won the OK-N final and took third place in the MINI Gr.3 class at the fourth round of the ACI Italian Karting Championship.
