The 2025 season concluded for the ProKart Challenge following the action on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California, facility welcomed the Superkarts! USA regional program to close out its 21st season. A total of 161 entries battled around the 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ course for the sixth and final round of the 2025 championship.

PREMA Racing announces that Louis Sharp will compete with the team in the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The 18-year-old driver is set for his second year in the series after sealing off his maiden season with three points finishes.

The global event held in Italy gave the IPK Group the opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency of its chassis and the expertise of the teams representing the Praga and Formula K brands. David Trefilov, who took pole position, dominated the KZ World Championship for much of the race but suffered an incident in the Final. Just off the podium, Marek Skřivan finished in the top five of the KZ2 World Cup and Davide Fore finished runner-up in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup!

Once again, the CRG colors proved to be among the stars of the KZ category, taking 2nd place in the FIA World Championship held in Italy. On the Franciacorta track, Viktor Gustavsson was crowned World Vice Champion, continuing CRG’s long-standing tradition of strong results in the “top class” of shifter karting.

James Wharton will make his return to PREMA Racing for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship season, the team is happy to announce. The 19-year-old Australian, who is readying for his second year in the series, comes back to the team after first joining it for his single-seater debut in 2022.

The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team. Isaac Phelps will make his GB3 Championship and Monza debuts when the Hertfordshire youngster steps up from GB4 to contest the three final GB3 races of the season in Italy this weekend (18/19 October). The 16-year-old from Berkhamsted has just completed his maiden GB4 season with Elite, finishing vice-champion in his first year of single-seater racing, leading more laps and races than any other driver.

SJM Theodore PREMA Racing will extend its decades-long history at the Macau Grand Prix in November in the 72nd edition of the world-famous event. The team, founded by Teddy Yip Sr. in 1973, is aiming to extend its winning record at the famous Guia Circuit.

Kean Nakamura-Berta was crowned 2025 Italian Formula 4 Champion with PREMA Racing at Misano, in a busy weekend that saw him clinch the Driver Championship with two races still to go. The Japanese-Slovakian racer had a blistering start this year, with five consecutive wins, and continued to stay on top after that. Misano carried on that trend with a grand finale. After the early podiums of Round 7 that secured the title, in the rerun of Imola’s postponed Race 2, Nakamura-Berta claimed his ninth win of the year with an incredible last-lap move. He is the eighth driver to win the series under the team's banner. PREMA Racing had already secured its ninth Italian Formula 4 Team Championship back in the penultimate round at Barcelona.

After 33 Qualifying Heats run from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, uncertainty still reigns at the Franciacorta International Circuit. Only the weather conditions seem stable under the Lombardy sun, while the sporting hierarchy has regularly changed during the exciting races. In terms of the top spot, Italy's Angelo Lombardo has taken over from his compatriot Davide Fore at the top of the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters intermediate standings. Misano World Circuit - The 2025 Italian F.4 Championship title has been awarded at Misano. Already on the first day of racing came the mathematical confirmation of the success for Prema Racing’s Kean Nakamura-Berta. Eight wins and five podiums mark the season so far for the Japanese-Slovak driver, who sealed the championship.

Under sunny skies, temperatures rose from 17 to 20 degrees during the Qualifying sessions, while pressure was also high among drivers and teams. With around 250 drivers spread across three categories, it was essential to secure a good position before the start of the Qualifying Heats. Three drivers have already achieved their first goal in Italy, that of securing pole position: Germany's David Trefilov in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Maksim Orlov in the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and Italy's Davide Fore in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters.

The German Kart Championship (DKM) will include five race weekends in the upcoming year, combining traditional tracks in Germany with a special highlight abroad. For the first time ever, Germany’s premier kart racing series will make a stop in Cheb, Czech Republic. The season opener will take place from May 1 to 3 in Saxony: the new season kicks off at Arena E in Mülsen – as tradition dictates, the DKM will conclude at ProKart Raceland in Wackersdorf. The decisive races of the 2026 season will be held there from September 25 to 27. A new class structure will also be introduced: alongside the Mini and Shifter Kart (KZ2) categories, the OK-N Junior and OK-N classes will be added for the first time.

Highly rated German teenager Maxim Rehm has been officially confirmed as Hillspeed’s second driver for the GB3 Championship season finale at Monza in Italy.

The wait is over: from Thursday, October 9th to Sunday, October 12th, the Franciacorta circuit in Italy will host the most important event of the year for the Shifter categories — the FIA World Championship KZ-KZ2 and KZ2 Master. Over 250 drivers and the most prestigious international karting teams will compete for the most coveted title in the gearbox categories.

With victories in the drivers' and team championships in the ADAC GT Masters and its first title in karting, HRT's young talent program can look back on a successful year. The young talents from HRT also secured class victory at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer of Haupt Racing Team, analyzes the debut year with the Ford Mustang GT3 in the junior program and the first season of karting involvement.

The 21st season of the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is set to end following the sixth and final round of competition on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. For a third time this year, the SKUSA regional program will visit the Winchester, California, facility for the final round of the championship chase. The 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ will welcome the competitors on the weekend, fighting for the final points up for grabs.

Parolin Motorsport and satellite team drivers finished on the podium in all categories at the last round of the Champions of the Future Shifter series at Franciacorta, just a week before the vital World Championship meeting at the same northern Italian circuit. The weather was fine all weekend, but with a definite autumnal chill in the air.
