End of august, the IAME Euro Series came to an end in Belgium at the Mariembourg circuit. Andy Ratel fought with the determination and grit that drive him in every race he competes in. The talented French kart driver's flawless performance in the X30 Senior category deserved a place in the top five, both in the final and in the overall standings of this important and highly competitive international series. He ultimately left Wallonia with a top-12 finish and the title of best French driver, which was quite far from his initial expectations.

First Title Decision in Kerpen

The German Kart Championship kicked off the second half of its season last weekend at the historic Erftlandring in Kerpen. At the fourth of five race weekends, more than 200 drivers lined up on the 1,107-meter cult track. In front of packed grandstands and under consistently dry late-summer weather, the six classes delivered thrilling karting action — including the first championship decision in the Minis. The final winners in Kerpen were Markus Kajak (DKM), Marc Alexander Reistrup (DJKM), Jeffrey Fikse (DSKC), Devin Titz (DMKM), Maxim Becker (X30 Junior) and Lars Ramaer (X30 Senior).
