The major event in the 2025 IAME calendar got off to an intense start at the Lucas Guerrero International Circuit in Chiva, near Valencia. The substantial amount of entrants confirms the appeal of this event, and every available space in the paddock was needed to accommodate the drivers and the numerous teams in the best possible conditions. IAME, together with its partners RGMMC and the Spanish circuit managers, is once again offering a high standard of organisation this year.

The 2025 FIA Karting World Championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories took place from 11th to 14th September at the historic Åsum Ring in Kristianstad, Sweden. As always at this level, the sporting intensity was at its peak, with a world title awarded on a single event, in an atmosphere combining suspense and twists and turns. The unpredictable weather on the south-east coast of Sweden did nothing to make things easier for the 217 drivers taking part (109 in OK-Junior, 108 in OK), adding an element of uncertainty to the competition.

Birelart travelled to Denmark this weekend for the fourth of five rounds of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, held at the Rødby circuit, which appeared on the international calendar for the first time in 2023. From Thursday's Qualifying sessions to Saturday's Finals, the team had to fight relentlessly, but failed to secure a podium finish in OK despite some impressive performances.

The magnificent Al Forsan International Sport kart circuit and its spectacular layout brought the first season of the Champions of the Future Academy Programme to a close in the sunshine and heat of the United Arab Emirates. The 'arrive and drive' concept of the programme is set to become a benchmark in the world of karting. In the presence of eminent motorsport personalities, Spain's Luna Fluxa Cross in the Senior class, Australia's James Anagnostiadis in the Junior class and Belgium's Priam Bruno in the Mini class received their 2024 Champions trophies.

The Champions of the Future Academy Program 2024 continues this weekend at the Al Ain Raceway International Kart Circuit. The hundred or so drivers entered for the fifth and penultimate round of the series will once again enjoy the very pleasant subtropical climate of the United Arab Emirates. In OK-N Senior, OK-N Junior and Mini 60, the situation remains open and many drivers are still hopeful of climbing onto the final podium.
