The Italian F4 Championship closed the day at Mugello with a dramatic twist. Race 2 featured the drivers from Groups A and B, with Germany's Elia Weiss (Jenzer Motorsport) starting from pole position. Weiss looked determined to bring Jenzer Motorsport back to victory after the last one came in 2020. However, after controlling the race from the front, the R-ace GP Mercedes Junior Team driver Andy Consani came under increasing pressure, sparking an intense battle. Contact between the two resulted in a puncture for Weiss, forcing the Jenzer driver into the pits. Consani suffered front wing damage but was able to continue, only to later receive a 25-second penalty from Race Control.

Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Luka Sammalisto claimed his third victory of the weekend, the seventh of his season. Once again, it was a perfect score: wins in every race he has taken part in, exactly as he did at Vallelunga.

After 33 Qualifying Heats run from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, uncertainty still reigns at the Franciacorta International Circuit. Only the weather conditions seem stable under the Lombardy sun, while the sporting hierarchy has regularly changed during the exciting races. In terms of the top spot, Italy's Angelo Lombardo has taken over from his compatriot Davide Fore at the top of the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters intermediate standings. On the other hand, Germany's David Trefilov managed to retain his lead in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, as did Maksim Orlov in the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2.

Since the beginning of October, the Franciacorta paddock has echoed with the sound of 125cc gearbox engines from the various KZ categories. With 203 participants, the Champions of the Future Shifter kicked off the action on the initiative of promoter RGMMC. From 9th to 12th October, FIA Karting will take over with the World Championship, with no fewer than 253 drivers expected in the Italian region of Brescia.
