Salim Hanna converted pole position into victory in the second of the three races at Imola, becoming the ninth different winner of the 2026 FIA Formula Regional European Championship season. The PREMA Racing driver led from the first lap to the last. Behind him, Oleksandr Bondarev finished second on his series debut with Van Amersfoort Racing, also taking top honours in the Rookie class, while CL Motorsport’s Reno Francot took third, returning to the podium for the first time since his home race at Zandvoort last May.

Kean Nakamura-Berta leaves Paul Ricard leading the FIA Formula Regional European Championship for the first time this season after a brilliant weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard, claiming victory in Race 1 and third in Race 2 to move 13 points clear at the top of the standings. It was PREMA's most significant weekend of the season so far, with Tomass Stolcermanis also showing strong pace across both races and Salim Hanna fighting hard despite difficult circumstances.

Sebastian Wheldon claimed his first victory since Zandvoort in the second and final race of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship weekend at Paul Ricard. The MP Motorsport driver, who inherited pole position after a post-qualifying penalty was handed to R-ace GP's Emanuele Olivieri, went on to claim victory and score valuable championship points. R-ace GP's Rashid Al Dhaheri, who arrived in France leading the championship, finished sixth.
