Dean Hoogendoorn and Noah Baglin completed the OK-Junior double at Portimão, just as they had done at Campillos on the opening event of the FIA Karting European Championship. This time, the positions were reversed, with Hoogendoorn taking victory. The teams using KR-IAME packages managed to adapt perfectly to the extremely changeable and difficult weather conditions, with seven of them in the top 10 in OK-Junior and five in OK, including a podium for Zak Drummond from the Fusion Motorsport team.

Heading south of Portugal, to the Portimão International Circuit, a technical track often swept by Atlantic winds. The season kicks off in Portimão on February 28, spanning for six rounds of top-level karting in OK-N Senior, OK-N Junior and Mini 60. More than a competition, this program is a gateway to a professional career in motorsport.
