On the Algarve international circuit in southern Portugal, excellent weather conditions accompanied the large number of entrants in Round 2 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. 92 drivers in OK and 88 in OK-Junior, making a magnificent field of 180 entrants, put in an incredible performance over three days, guaranteeing a long and gripping thriller. Noah Baglin (OK-Junior) and Iacopo Martinese (OK) won the Finals in Portimao with flying colours, Henry Domain took the overall lead in the 12-14 age group, while Martinese is now the leader in OK.

The action on track is back for the OK and OKJ categories of international karting, which will be busy this weekend on the Portimão track in Portugal for the 2nd round of the Champions of the Future. The event will be the prologue to the 2nd Round of the FIA ​​European Championship, scheduled for next week from 1st to 4th May on the same track and will therefore be of significant importance for working on the set-ups in view of the FIA ​​meeting.

The CRG Racing Team and Ethan Jeff-Hall are the 2024 World Champions of the OK category, the top direct drive class. The event, the most prestigious and important of the international season, was held in England at the PF International Circuit from September 12th to 15th. This circuit has always been a battlefield for English drivers and this year too was no exception, with an all-English podium in OK and an English winner in Junior. For the CRG colours, this prestigious success enriches our wall of fame in FIA events, bringing the world titles won to 25.

After 15 qualifying heats in each of the two categories of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship OK & Junior, Thibaut Ramaekers (BEL) was leading the OK intermediate classification, while Christian Costoya (ESP) took the lead in the OK-Junior category.
