After a historic 2025 season, marked by Senna Van Walstijn's double world title in KZ, Maksim Orlov's KZ2 World Cup title, the European Championship titles and the FIA Karting team crowns, the Sodi Racing Team approached the 2026 season with the ambition of maintaining this level of excellence. On the selective La Conca track in Italy, for the kick-off of the WSK Super Master Series, the French manufacturer and its partner CPB Sport returned to competition. This first international event immediately confirmed the competitiveness of Sodi equipment, both in terms of confirming its achievements in KZ2 and in the promising development of the Mini categories.

The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team.
