In KZ2, Maksim Orlov is in exactly the same situation, after his comprehensive domination in the Final at the foot of Vesuvius. The gearbox categories are back at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno for the second of three rounds in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship-KZ and KZ2. From June 19th to 22nd, 2025, the KZ2 Masters category will be added to the programme. This Championship will be contested over a single competition. A total of 125 Drivers are entered.

The Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship for gearbox categories got underway in the heat of the Naples International Circuit, with temperatures well in excess of 30 degrees. Qualifying Practice enabled the establishment of an initial hierarchy. Frenchman Mattéo Spirgel set the fastest absolute time in KZ, while his compatriot Corentin Rousseau took first place in KZ2. Manuel Cozzaglio, European Champion in 2003 and now competing in the Masters, showed that he had lost none of his talent when he was fastest in his category.
