The KR Motorsport team split into two groups on the last weekend of August, as the opening round of the WSK Final Cup at Franciacorta coincided with the Grand Prix Karting KZ event at Le Mans.

The KR-IAME teams travelled to Sweden to contest the two FIA Karting European Championship titles in the OK and OK-Junior classes. Mission accomplished with a one-two finish in OK thanks to Noah Baglin and Zac Drummond, as well as a clean sweep of the top three places in OK-Junior with Will Green, Daniel Miron Lorente and Many Nuvolini. Well done to the KR Motorsport and Fusion Motorsport teams for these outstanding performances on the European stage.

British drivers Noah Baglin and Will Green claimed European Champion glory today (Sunday 2 August), with both Kart Republic drivers delivering a final flourish to cap off exemplary campaigns across the four rounds of the championship. The 2026 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship reached its climax at the Åsum Ring in Kristianstad, wrapping up a European season that has delivered drama, nail-biting finals and unmissable racing from some of motor sport’s brightest future stars.

Performing increasingly well throughout the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, the KR-IAME teams ultimately made a clear mark in both categories during the Kristianstad finals. Noah Baglin and Zac Drummond secured a one-two finish in OK, whilst Daniel Miron Lorente crossed the finish line first in the OK-Junior final, before being joined on the podium by Priam Bruno. Ahead of the series’ final round in Sarno in September, Kart Republic factory karts occupy the top three places in the overall series standings, in both OK and OK-Junior.

Since winning the KZ European Championship title in 2023, Danilo Albanese has been one of the most consistent drivers on the podium in this highly competitive category at FIA Karting events. Finishing 2nd in Spain in 2024, 3rd at the World Championship in Franciacorta in 2025 and then 3rd at Genk in 2026, the Italian driver has now concluded the European Championship in 2nd place. This consistency in results clearly demonstrates the competitiveness of Kart Republic’s factory equipment and that of the KR-IAME package in the gearbox categories.
