To hold position, Nakamura-Berta ran beyond track limits, resulting in the infringement. Given the gap to the rest of the field, the penalty relegated him to P2, though he still takes the championship lead with 94 points.

Mugello - Qualifying for the second round of the E4 Championship at Mugello Circuit delivered both spectacle and confirmation. The fifth round of the Italian F.4 Championship at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola ended under the banner of Prema Racing, as Oleksandr Bondarev, a driver from the Williams Driver Academy, secured his first overall victory. After losing the lead at the start to teammate Kean Nakamura-Berta, the Ukrainian kept his focus and waited for the right moment to reclaim the top spot. The opportunity came with a spectacular move, carefully prepared over several laps, that earned him his first win of the season.

The opening race of the 2025 E4 Championship took place at Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet. Thanks to a perfect start, Gabriel Gomez claimed the inaugural victory after starting from third on the grid. The US Racing ace jumped into the lead at Turn 1, taking advantage of the fierce battle between pole-sitter Kean Nakamura-Berta and Sebastian Wheldon. The two Prema Racing drivers went on to complete the podium behind the Brazilian. Nakamura-Berta, the Slovak-Japanese driver currently at the top of the Italian F.4 Championship, will have another strong opportunity to aim for the top step in Race 2, starting once again from pole. Gomez, meanwhile, will start from pole in Race 3.

The fourth round of the Italian F.4 Championship came to a close with a standout weekend for Alex Powell. The American-Jamaican driver from R-ace GP, part of the Mercedes junior program, had already impressed in qualifying by securing two pole positions. In Race 1, he climbed to the podium from fourth on the grid, finishing third, and then capped off the weekend with a double win in Race 2 and Race 3. The final race saw him cross the line with over five seconds of margin on his closest rival.
