The 2026 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship officially hit the halfway point today as Noah Baglin displayed racing brilliance at the Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero, bouncing back from his setback yesterday to secure back-to-back victories in the European Championship.

According to the egalitarian principle which has always prevailed in this competition, the 86 or so drivers entered this season in each of the two FIA Karting Academy Trophies, Senior and Junior categories, have had the use of strictly identical equipment: this includes chassis and engines (supplied by OTK), tyres (provided by Maxxis or LeCont, depending on the category), overalls and gloves (branded OMP) and the data acquisition system (of the Alfano brand).

Applications exceeded expectations so much so that FIA Karting had to close OK-N applications just hours after they opened. A total of 90 OK-N and 83 OK-NJ drivers will compete in Cremona in these two competitions, which promise to be very open.
