The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team has announced that Formula 2 driver Cian Shields will take to the track at Yas Marina Circuit this week, driving Fernando Alonso’s AMR25 during the Abu Dhabi FP1 session. He will join Aston Martin Aramco Young Driver Jak Crawford, who was announced last month as driving Lance Stroll’s AMR25 in the same session.

The second round of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior taking place in France on the Val d'Argenton circuit will also see the start of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy from 25 to 28 April 2024. A total of 244 Drivers from 62 nations on five continents are entered, with the Competition setting a new record seeing 90 Drivers entered in OK, 103 in OK-Junior and 51 in Academy.
