After a dry day of testing on Thursday, rain took over completely at the Steel Ring in Trinec today, making conditions significantly more complex for teams and drivers as Qualifying and the opening Heats of Round 4 of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy got underway.

At the Kristianstad circuit in Sweden, the venue for the fourth and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship, their Tony Kart Racer 401 T dominated the ‘Junior’ final and narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the ‘Senior’ class.

British drivers Noah Baglin and Will Green claimed European Champion glory today (Sunday 2 August), with both Kart Republic drivers delivering a final flourish to cap off exemplary campaigns across the four rounds of the championship. The Tony Kart Racer 401 T won the OK-N final and took third place in the MINI Gr.3 class at the fourth round of the ACI Italian Karting Championship. The Tony Kart Racing Team also took to the track for the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Sweden, with drivers competing in the OK and OKJ classes.

After Friday’s Qualifying Heats established the leading contenders, Round 4 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series reached its decisive stage at the 1,221-metre Asum Ring in Kristianstad.
