Coronel will make the trip to Kent this weekend with momentum on his side following a dream home event at Zandvoort last time out. The Dutchman charged to two wins on home tarmac, taking his tally to a stunning 11 victories from 15 races so far in his rookie car-racing campaign.

Rocco Coronel secured a sensational double victory in his home event at Zandvoort, as he shared the spoils with Alfie Slater during the Ginetta Junior Championship’s trip to the Netherlands for the fifth round of the 20th anniversary season (26-27 July).

Fred Green (Elite Motorsport) produced a blistering pace in the summer heatwave on his way to a double pole position in qualifying. The 2025 Ginetta Junior Scholarship winner lapped seven tenths of a second faster than anyone else, the biggest pole margin of the season to date. Behind, Alfie Slater edged out his R Racing team-mate Rocco Coronel by just five thousandths of a second to secure a front-row slot for race one. Max Cuthbert (R Racing) and Elite Motorsport duo Ethan Carney and Joseph Smith rounded out the top six overall in the session.
