Another warm day with sunny skies and light clouds greeted the drivers at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera as the 2026 IAME Euro Series season officially moved into racing action. With timed qualifying completed on Thursday, and a full schedule of qualifying heats throughout the day, the grids across Mini, Junior and Senior began to take shape ahead of Saturday’s Superheats and Finals.

The 2026 IAME Euro Series officially began today at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera near Zaragoza in Spain’s Aragón region. Under sunny skies, drivers completed their final free practice sessions before heading into timed qualifying on the fast 1699-metre circuit, known for its long straight lines and strong slipstream effect. The first competitive session of the season immediately delivered tight margins across all categories.

The 2026 IAME Euro Series begins this week at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera in Spain. From 11–14 March, drivers will take on the 1699-metre circuit near Zaragoza as the battle for the X30 Euro titles officially gets underway.

Under the Spanish sun, but with the traditional breeze for this time of the year, the opening race of the 2024 IAME Euro Series took place at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera. A strong grid of 210 drivers, including a robust 115 competitors in the X30 Senior category, promised intense competition and a thrilling start to the season. The strategic location near the vibrant city of Zaragoza added to the allure, providing participants and spectators alike with a perfect blend of exciting racing action and the rich cultural experiences the region has to offer.

Since Friday afternoon, the Qualifying Heats have followed each other without letting up on the Circuito Internacional de Zuera, which is vibrant with the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2 supported by Mondokart.com. Speed and consistency were the keys to this decisive phase which allowed Senna van Walstijn (NLD) and Freddie Slater (GBR) to take the top positions in KZ and KZ2 respectively.
