A few weeks after a very successful trip to Campillos, the teams using equipment from the Kart Republic factory perfectly mastered the specifics of the Algarve international circuit in Portimao and those of Maxxis tyres. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series ended with an impressive domination by the KR-IAME teams. Brilliantly supported by their teams, with their recognised skills and professionalism, the drivers went on to successfully complete their mission in several instances. Italy's Iacopo Martinese in OK and Great Britain's Noah Baglin in OK-Junior won the Finals, which saw two trebles for the Italian brand.

On the Algarve international circuit in southern Portugal, excellent weather conditions accompanied the large number of entrants in Round 2 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. 92 drivers in OK and 88 in OK-Junior, making a magnificent field of 180 entrants, put in an incredible performance over three days, guaranteeing a long and gripping thriller. Noah Baglin (OK-Junior) and Iacopo Martinese (OK) won the Finals in Portimao with flying colours, Henry Domain took the overall lead in the 12-14 age group, while Martinese is now the leader in OK.

With many years of experience organising major FIA Karting events, the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve will host the opening round of the brand new Senior Academy Trophy to be organised over three competitions in 2025. After a successful launch in Spain, the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior - will continue at the circuit in southern Portugal for a second meeting that promises plenty of intensity and spectacle from 1st to 4th May. A total of 232 drivers are racing in these three categories at Portimao.

A warmer breeze and a clearer sky greeted drivers for the second and final day of racing in Valencia. The Mini 60, OK-N Junior, and OK-N Senior categories delivered intense on-track drama as the fight for the series rankings continued to unfold. Sunday featured an entire fresh day with timed qualifying sessions, two more qualifying heats per category, and the all-important finals with the storylines shaken up again since Saturday.

The second round of the Champions of the Future Academy Program is scheduled for 11th-13th April on the Spanish circuit of Valencia. An initial hierarchy has already emerged, but many drivers will be keen to upset the odds by taking advantage of the ‘arrive and drive’ concept, which places all drivers on an equal footing in the Mini, OK-N Junior and OK-N Senior categories.
