Two 100% Kart Republic podiums in Portimao

A few weeks after a very successful trip to Campillos, the teams using equipment from the Kart Republic factory perfectly mastered the specifics of the Algarve international circuit in Portimao and those of Maxxis tyres. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series ended with an impressive domination by the KR-IAME teams. Brilliantly supported by their teams, with their recognised skills and professionalism, the drivers went on to successfully complete their mission in several instances. Italy's Iacopo Martinese in OK and Great Britain's Noah Baglin in OK-Junior won the Finals, which saw two trebles for the Italian brand.

Birelart Racing drivers make a big impression at Campillos

The Birelart Racing Team got the FIA Karting European OK and OK-Junior Championship off to a flying start at Campillos. Although the final results did not fully reflect the potential seen on track, the performances nevertheless highlighted the quality of the preparation and the cohesion of the team.

With the Prema Racing team and IAME engines, KR chassis dominated the first of four rounds of the FIA Karting European Championships in OK and OK-Junior. At Campillos in Spain, the results of the two Finals spoke for themselves: Noah Baglin won brilliantly in the youngest category ahead of his team-mate Dean Hoogendoorn and James Anagnostiadis triumphed in OK, while Dries Van Langendonck secured a second double for the Kart Republic factory.

Almost four years after the previous FIA Karting Championship at Campillos, the Andalusian circuit was perfectly suited to the eagerly-awaited European opener, contributing to the success of the first 2025 competition. The Finals lived up to their promise in both categories. Britain's Noah Baglin made the difference in OK-Junior, while Australian James Anagnostiadis emerged victorious from an intense duel in OK. Several of the drivers in the top three were already wearing the colours of academies set up by Formula 1 teams, including Baglin with Ferrari and Anagnostiadis with Mercedes.
