Munich. The Road to DTM youth development program will be realigned within the German Kart Championship (DKM) for the 2026 season. Going forward, the program will be fully anchored in the OK-N category. As a result, the champion of this class will receive the entry fee for the BMW M2 Cup or ADAC GT4 Germany in the following season, providing a clear opportunity to take the next step toward professional motorsport.

The German Kart Championship came to a grand conclusion last weekend (September 19–21) with a thrilling showdown. Nearly 200 drivers competed at Pro Kart Raceland, battling under blazing sunshine and temperatures reaching 30°C for the final championship points. In front of packed grandstands, motorsport fans witnessed action-packed racing and the decisive moments in the title fights.

The ADAC is strengthening youth development in the karting scene and expanding the successfully established “Road to DTM” programme to incorporate the top German karting series, the German Kart Championship (DKM), in the 2024 season.

Maxim Rehm (DKM), Jens Treur (DJKM), Jorrit Pex (DSKM) and Christiaan de Kleijn (DSKC) are the champions of the predicates in the German Kart Championship. In the Prokart Raceland, 103 drivers started the last races of the anniversary season and once again fought hot duels.

This weekend, the anniversary season of the German Kart Championship has its season finale at the Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf. In the end, 118 drivers will once again ensure full fields. In the individual predicates, no decision has yet been made in the title fight, but some favorites can already be identified. The E-Kart Race will take place for the first time as part of the supporting program. For the final, the highest German championship now goes to the Upper Palatinate, the Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf welcomes drivers from all over the world to the final races.
