At the Autodromo Piero Taruffi di Vallelunga, venue of the second round of the Italian F4 Championship, US Racing’s Luka Sammalisto completed a perfect weekend. Three wins from the three races he contested for the Finnish driver, who only missed Race 2 because of the group rotation format, with that race instead won by teammate Edu Robinson.

Italian F4 Championship leader after the opening round is Alp Aksoy (Prema Racing), who came close to a perfect scorecard at the Misano World Circuit. With two victories and a third-place finish, the Turkish driver collected 82 out of the 90 points available and became the first championship leader of the 2026 season.

Qualifying for the opening round of the Italian F4 Championship at the Misano World Circuit has come to an end. Luka Sammalisto, the Finnish driver for US Racing, set the fastest overall time with a 1’35.492 lap, securing pole position for Race 2 and Race 3 at the head of Group A. The fastest driver in the other series was Prema Racing’s Turkish driver Alp Aksoy, who will start from pole position in Race 1 with Group B.

A spectacular start to the final weekend of the 2025 E4 Championship unfolded at Monza, with Race 1 delivering plenty of drama and several safety car interventions. Kean Nakamura-Berta (Prema Racing) claimed victory, extending his championship lead at the end of a fiercely fought race that remained undecided until the very last meters.
