Energy Corse and Krutogolov dominate the OK class in WSK at Viterbo
At the start of the season, Energy Corse is clearly making its mark on the international stage, particularly in the OK class, the flagship category for young motorsport hopefuls. Since his podium finish at the 2025 FIA Karting World Championship, Lev Krutogolov has been racking up the wins at the wheel of his high-performance Energy-IAME. In the WSK Super Master Series, he claimed his second victory in three races and leads the series after his undisputed domination in Viterbo. Energy Corse's weekend was also marked by Jarlath Sayer's podium finish in OK-Junior and Filip Stec's 4th place in Mini 60, not to mention brilliant results in the United Arab Emirates with the Xcel Motorsport team.
Five races, five victories and five fastest laps in OK at Viterbo!
North of Rome from 18th to 22nd February, Lev Krutogolov achieved a feat that few drivers have ever managed: after setting the fastest time in his group in Qualifying, the Ukrainian driver from the Energy Corse team won all five races from Friday to Sunday, each time with the fastest lap. He led the OK Final from first to last lap, winning by almost a second. P1 throughout the weekend: Krutogolov was untouchable!
Podium for Jarlath Sayer in OK-Junior
The young Briton was one of the fastest drivers during the three days of racing in Viterbo, with consistent performance. In the Final, he stepped up his game to cross the finish line in 2nd place. This moved him up to 3rd in the overall standings. His team-mate Felipe Sanches also put in a strong performance. The Brazilian won one heat, finished 4th in Prefinal A and ended up in the top 10 in the Final. Coming up from Mini, Poland's Jan Gardzielik continued his progress with the Energy Corse team staff.
Still plenty of Energy in Mini 60
In "Gr.3", the Italian team was very well represented by Poland's Filip Stec and the Netherlands' Mik Klinkers. Stec was often among the leaders, particularly in Prefinal B when he moved up to 3rd with the fastest lap of the race. He confirmed his form in the Final by taking 4th place. Unfortunately, Klinkers crashed in a Qualifying Heat, before coming back to finish 16th.
