The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) have selected the 12 teams that will compete in the 2027 FIA Formula Regional European Championship.

At the final round of the 2026 French F4 Championship, young Moroccan driver Sofia Zanfari once again stepped onto the female podium at Le Castellet on the iconic Circuit Paul Ricard following Race 3. Sofia brought her French F4 campaign to a decidedly positive conclusion.

Karting front-runner Max Yuill will make his car-racing debut with Fortec Motorsports in this year’s GB4 Championship Winter Series in October.

The 2026 E4 Championship came to an end at Monza in thrilling fashion, with the title fight remaining undecided until the final lap of Race 3. Coming into the season finale as the favourite, Kenzo Craigie lived up to expectations by winning Race 1. However, his title ambitions were thrown into doubt by an incident in Race 2. Just as he was closing in on securing the championship mathematically, the R-ace GP driver was hit from behind and forced to retire, while his rival Luka Sammalisto finished second. The dramatic turn of events brought the US Racing Finn, already crowned Italian F4 Championship champion this season, right back into contention, just eight points behind Craigie.

A total of 149 OK-N and 117 OK-N Junior drivers will compete for the illustrious World Cup honours this weekend, including returning winners and those taking their first laps in FIA Karting.
